Well, having submitted the EOI on 12th February, there was a draw on 13th ... and today I got this message



Yeaaah ... first round complete!!

Now we wait. Our details are being passed to the London branch of INZ, and someone will get back to us. London branch says this should take 2-3 months, so hopefully sometime in April or May.

Cost so far: £165 EOI fee (NZ $400)
